Motherson Sumi Systems Limited (MSSL) announced that it is acquiring assets of German Scherer & Trier (S&T) group for a price of approximately EUR 36 million through a subsidiary. Samvardhana Motherson Automotive Systems Group B. V. (SMRP), MSSL’s subsidiary and joint venture with Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd., has signed an agreement for the purchase of the assets of S&T, including two manufacturing facilities situated at Michelau, Germany, and Puebla, Mexico.
